One of the most significant tools available to the participant before and while engaging in the communitarian interpretation process was a series of PowerPoint slides that were prepared by the local County Health Department. This visual support was meant to function as an organizational guide to deliver the essential information on licensing in childcare affairs. However, while getting acquainted with this information and its set up, the participant concluded that the informational base was too extensive and contained unnecessarily complex language. These observations prompted the HLL to suggest that the presenter shorten the presentation and lower its register, so that the audience would find it less intimidating and more appealing.
