paper CO_ColombianAppliedLinguisticsJournaltxt104 - : All in all, the research presented in both the present research profiling study and the articles published in this special issue hold a common concern: It is possible to get to know via discourse studies how (language ) learning operates from different angles and this is a contribution for the continuous development of applied linguistics in general. The research commented on here proves this and is part of the knowledge produced regionally. There is still need for more studies that systematize this knowledge.
